In the Plenary Ordinary on 29-9-2016, the Popular Group in the City Council of Alguazas presented a motion urging the City Council of Molina de Segura to clean the banks of the N-344 road, between the bridge over The Segura River and its link with the N-301 (old Madrid road), thus maintaining acceptable safety conditions for the traffic of the road traffic.
In that Plenary, almost a year ago, the state of neglect was reported in regard to the cleaning of both sides of the shoulders of the Alguazas-Molina de Segura road, noting that even part of the road is invaded by bushes Existing mainly on the southern margin of the same, being hidden much of the information panels and traffic signs for that vegetation, which makes visibility for the drivers of the same, putting at risk road safety.
This motion urged the Hon.
City Council of Molina de Segura, competent in this section, to clean the same to provide greater security to said section of road, was approved with the votes in favor of the Popular Municipal and Unity by Alguazas, and With the abstention of the Socialist Municipal Group.
In successive Plenaries from the Popular Group we have asked Mr. Mayor if he had transferred the plenary agreement to the City Council of Molina, answering that they had sent offices and that they were waiting for a reply.
From the Popular Party of Alguazas we believe that this is an issue that affects not only the neighbors of our municipality, but also the multitude of people who cross the road daily, and that being a subject of road safety should be dealt with much more quickly Of what is being done;
Let us hope that we do not have to regret some misfortune for the state of abandonment that the shoulders of this busy road present.
