The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed an investigation aimed at prosecuting drug trafficking, which has culminated with the dismantling of a clandestine marijuana greenhouse, in a flat in Alguazas, where more than 10 kilos of buds have been seized and marijuana leaves, as well as the necessary tools for indoor cultivation.
Three people have been arrested as alleged authors of the crimes of cultivation, processing and trafficking of drugs, defraudation of electrical fluid and usurpation of property.
The investigation began when the Civil Guard detected that, in a building of the municipality of Alguazas, there could be a clandestine plantation of marijuana due to the strong odors that emanated from one of the houses, which extended from the stairs of the building to the street public.
In addition, in the aforementioned block there had been a fire in the electricity meter box, due to an overload in the network due to high and irregular consumption, which uncovered the illegal connection to the electricity supply of one of the homes.
The Benemérita established a series of discreet surveillance devices that allowed identifying several people who came to the floor, randomly and at different times of the day, on which the investigation was focused.
Once the necessary evidence was obtained, the corresponding court order of entry and registration was requested.
Recently, agents of the Civil Guard, in collaboration with local police of Alguazas, Lorquí and Ceutí, have carried out the exploitation phase of the operation with the entry and registration of the property object of the investigation.
Illegally occupied housing for the cultivation of marijuana
The apartment, owned by a bank, had been occupied by the now detained, who allegedly had enabled the different rooms of the same to grow, dry and dose the marijuana plants, so that the whole process, from the beginning, through its handling and culminating with its dosage for retail sale, it was carried out in the home, from where it was distributed to consumers of the Vega Media.
The registration has resulted in the seizure of four kilos of marijuana buds, six and a half kilos of marijuana leaves, 10 halogen lamps, temperature and humidity meters, filters for air purification, as well as the necessary tools for dosing and distribution of the drug.
In that act have been detained 'in fraganti' three people: a man and two women, 18, 41 and 50 years old, neighbors of Alguazas, which are attributed the alleged responsibility for the crimes of cultivation, processing and trafficking of drug, defraudation of electrical fluid and usurpation of property.
The operation has culminated with the dismantling of a drug preparation and distribution point in the municipality of Alguazas, where more than 10 kilos of marijuana and the necessary tools for its internal cultivation have been seized.
The arrested one of them with a bulky record for crimes of the same nature, drugs and seized effects, as well as the proceedings have been made available to the Court of Instruction number 4 of Molina de Segura (Murcia).
