The 1-1-2 integrates Alguazas City Council to improve call attention (16/11/2017)

The Governing Council has authorized, at the proposal of the Ministry of Presidency and Development, the conclusion of an agreement with the City of Alguazas for integration into the emergency call service 1-1-2 Murcia.

This incorporation is part of the process to turn the 1-1-2 into the only number of emergencies in the Region, with the rapidity involved in providing a better service to citizens.

The objective is to offer an answer and adequate attention to the calls that are received both in the 1-1-2 and in the emergency telephones of the Town Hall.

In addition, it ensures a more effective performance of municipal services, especially the Local Police and Civil Protection Service.

Under this agreement, coordination between emergency services will be improved through the shared use of the systems and the integration of their different communication and information devices.

Thus, the Alguazas City Council will have a Remote Command and Control Center, which will allow all the teams involved in emergency assistance to have immediate information about any call from citizens, as well as instant data on the mobilization of resources and the follow-up of the emergency.

The Ministry provides the necessary technological support to support the centers and platforms, equipment, hardware and software for the connection to the system of the 1-1-2 Region of Murcia, as well as the initial and permanent training of municipal personnel.
