José Antonio Fernández Lladó argued that the heated pool is a service highly anticipated by alguaceños.

That indicated that since the beginning of this legislature "has chosen the place, has managed the availability of land, the financing of the work, and drafting and approval of the project, all for that as a reality in the municipality .

In this regard continued to explain that after the process of drafting and adoption of the "construction of the swimming pool began in October last year, and shall be concluded within one year from the start," ie " in autumn this year, "Mayor materialized.

José Antonio Fernández Lladó was pleased with the new design which will have the pool heated and stressed that "it is a very ambitious installation that has an optimal design."

This initiative has prompted the Department of Planning in coordination with the Sports of the Consistory alguaceño.

The new building will house two pools, one for the practice of swimming and a smaller one for the rest of the health services.

New services

The new municipal swimming pool provides the chance to practice, besides traditional swimming, new sports such as aerobics, baby swimming, maternity swim, aqua-aerobics or acuafitness.

It also will implement activities rooted in launching health-related services functional recovery and therapeutic swims in the water.

As for the location of the pool, is situated in a central location easily accessible from all parts of the municipality.

As pointed out by the Mayor of Alguazas "is the ideal location to be beside the Municipal Hall, focused on the urban core. So the sports facilities are centralized in one physical place."
