The municipality has signed an agreement with the centers to be the students themselves provide information, guidance and advice on youth in the program "Youth Correspondent".
This is a program that has been very successful in schools and has just been refurbished.
The 'Youth Correspondents' are the voice of the Department of Youth in Alguazas and institutes, while the voice of students at City Hall.
A link education and youth participation has been sealed, yesterday Thursday, February 2, with the signing of a cooperation agreement.
The Mayor, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, by the Councillor for Youth, Joaquín López Verdú, and the directors of the centers, Magdalena Galmes Matas, director of IES Villa Carpes Alguazas and Isabel Gonzalez, director of Vega CES Media, said its commitment to maintain in force, throughout this school year, the fruitful cooperation between both parties.
Through this program, the Department of Youth delegates to a group of students their reporting and provides technical advice required for the implementation of youth activities.
Moreover, given a monthly stipend to each school to facilitate the purchase of material required by the program of correspondents.
Students selected for their part, agree to meet for two week recess, disseminate youth between the other students, update the notice board and collaborate on specific campaigns carried out by the council, among other actions.
The purpose of this project is none other than promote actively the participation of young students in the life of the town, so they find all the resources at its disposal to propose ideas and develop their concerns.
