The huge procession of Palm Sunday Alguazas, began at 10:30 am in the chapel of Our Lady of Mount Carmel with the Holy Mass and the blessing of the palms and palms that accompany the procession after procession.
From there and after 11:00 hours, started the procession of the Palms, led as usual by the "Arm", a former military training.
This procession is one of the more participatory the municipality.
During his tour, from the chapel of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish Church to San Onofre, hundreds of neighbors craft carrying palms and olive branches.
Children have a special significance this day.
Younger Jews dresses, also accompanied with olive trees and palms to the parish priest that is mounted on a donkey, symbolizes the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem.
The members of the band of drums and bugles "Samaritan and Lord of the Pit" with music accompanied the procession.
Also paraded members of the Board of Fraternities and Brotherhoods to herald in Easter Alguazas 2012, Rosalia Alfonso Sanchez, the Parish and the government team, led by its Mayor, José Antonio Fernández Lladó.
Closed over the band of Drums and Bugles "Nuestra Señora del Carmen".
After the arrival of the procession to the parish church of San Onofre, a solemn Mass was celebrated on Palm Sunday.
