The alguaceños show their solidarity on the side of the Bands IV and Dance Contest (18/04/2012)

The municipal sports pavilion Alguazas hosted on Sunday, the Band IV and Dance Competition, organized by the local board of the Spanish Association against Cancer.

A charity gala attended by nearly a thousand local residents, which showed a year in solidarity with this association.

Also present at this act of solidarity the Mayor of Alguazas, Jose Antonio Fernandez Lladó, the Councillor for Citizen Participation, Maria Dolores Ruiz Serna, Youth, Joaquín López Verdú and Culture, Isabel Zamora Palacios.

The president of the local board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer, Antonia Oliva, was responsible for introducing the massive event involving several groups of young dancers from the rocks "Bailalo", "Harmony", the majorettes of the whole " Galilee "and the academy" Between waters "as well as the performance artist Daniel alguaceño Assisi, who delighted the audience with his art of flamenco, which together with the dancer, Ana Hurtado, danced around Seville.

All dancers took different colored ribbons, symbolizing the struggle against each of the cancers that exist.

After dancing, the bands took the stage.

First to play were the components of the drum group Hellin and Cotillas Towers behind them, the bands of trumpets and drums "The Samaritan", "Nuestra Señora del Carmen" and "The Samaritan and the Lord of the Pit."

The three bands of drums and horns, all of Alguazas, who played his best stuff individually, joined in a great training for an emotional farewell to all attendees.
