The Department of Sports Alguazas City Council, in collaboration with the Rhythm Club Alguazas, held on Saturday 5 May, the Second test Gymnastics Regional Championship, in the form and Base School League, which was held at City Hall sports.
A thousand fans cheered from the stands to the 350 young people from twenty-one sports clubs in the Region of Murcia, who participated in the contest, the second of its kind to be organized locally.
The gymnasts performed different exercises with the equipment, depending on the category in which they participated, entering the competition, as rope, ball, hands free, ribbons, clubs and rings.
The categories were Prebenjamin League championship, Benjamin League, League Youngsters, Kids League, Junior League, Senior League, Prebejamín Base, Benjamin Base, Base Youngsters, Kids and Cadet Base base.
The alguaceñas athletes did a great role in this event where the Rhythmic Club Alguazas, Prebenjamin category basis, ranked first.
Sports Councillors, Joaquín López Verdú and Culture, Isabel Zamora Palacios, by the president of the Federation of Gymnastics in the Region of Murcia, Campillo Nuria Sánchez-Muñoz, were responsible for presenting the awards to the winners of each category.
The organization of this meeting also took six young volunteer program of revitalization and youth participation "Sum Going" developed by the Youth Council.
