The Town Hall Square Alguazas together, last Saturday, thousands of people during the Gala for the election of the Queen of the festivity of San Onofre and San Antonio 2012.
The ladies small, were the first to march to the stage, under the watchful eye of friends, neighbors and family.
The five girls, Maria Jose Gil Cortes, Marina Hernández González, Patricia Lopez Sanchez, Desire Martinez Martinez Carbonell and Mary Valley, up the catwalk with her male companion.
Once on stage, were received by the Queen of Festivals, 2011, Teresa Moreno Lopez, who gave them a bouquet of flowers and the local mayor, Jose Antonio Fernandez Lladó, charged with imposing the band of ladies.
A few minutes later, the host of the gala, the television journalist Autonomous Region of Murcia, 7RM, Encarna Talavera, was calling the elderly ladies.
One by one they were marching arm of a friend or relative, with great excitement and nervousness to the stage, which also were presented with a bouquet of flowers and the traditional band of ladies.
The ten candidates for this year's queen was Ana Isabel Alfonso García, Beatriz Gil Molina, Peñalver Toni Munoz, Maria Sanchez and Irene Sanchez Bravo Zamora.
The ten girls dressed in white, listened attentively to the rector of the University of Murcia, Jose Antonio Cobacho Gomez, who was in charge of reading the proclamation of the parties and that the mayor received a badge for his part in the festivities of the locality.
The highlight of the evening came when the mayor of Alguazas, announced the name of the Queen of the 2012 Festivities, which this year is Ana Isabel Alfonso Garcia.
So excited was the crown of his predecessor and kisses the other candidates to be merged into a big hug.
A set of lights and fireworks ended a thrilling gala.
