Alguaceño theologian has worked in Latin America in health care with Guatemalan refugees in Chiapas (Mexico), has been coordinator of the Human Rights Program of the Diocese of San Marcos in Guatemala and its Pastoral Education Advisory Council member Pastoral of the Archdiocese of Guatemala City, advisor to the Education Commission of the Bishops' Conference and a member of the San Marcos Departmental Tables for Education Reform and Conflict of Guatemala and of the Board of the National Movement for Human Rights Guatemala.
