organized by the Department of Culture of the Consistory Local

The day of this past Sunday, April 7, Alguazas welcomed thirty-three artists from different parts of the national territory to capture in his paintings emblematic images of local destinations like chimneys came to be canning (symbols of the past agrifood the municipality) and the bridges and walkways of a population that, true to its toponym, is bathed by two rivers, the Mula and Segura.

On these specific locations turned the topic of VI National Contest of Rapid Painting Outside "Alguazas villa" which was organized by the Department of Culture in collaboration with Local Consistory sponsorship of high profile companies in Murcia and with headquarters in the alguaceño municipality as "Marvimundo" and "Cash Arama Aráez" and also supported a rich set of local population as well as the shopping and leisure center "Vega Plaza" in the nearby town of Molina de Segura, after editing features edition with increasing participation and hence projection.

Set by a craft market set up for the occasion in the town hall square of the town, this unique national painting contest awarded a total of four prizes for the best creations that made "in situ" in the places that marked the theme of this edition 2013 will be exhibited in that shopping and leisure center "Vega Plaza" of Molina de Segura from April 21 to May 12.

The creditor for the first prize of this Contest VI National Air Painting "Villa de Alguazas", worth 700 euros, was Ana Santa Lucas, while the awards in the category of silver-sponsored "Marvimundo" and "Cash Arama Aráez "with respective amounts of 500 euros corresponded to artists Pedro Iglesias and Gonzalo Romero Navarro Asuar falling the third prize, with 300 euros from the Collective Alguaceños Dealers in Arauzo González Alfonso.

It should be noted further that with the winning works and those whose authors commit to winning not provide a sample will be in the Exhibition Hall of the House of Culture of Alguazas (from 8 to 19 April).

The Jury for the VI national projection painting contest, chaired by the head of the Department driving this initiative to promote artistic creativity both as significant local environments alguaceña, Isabel Zamora Palacios, was composed of renowned personalities such as Encarnación Palazón Campillo, Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, specializing in artistic drawing, professor of Artistic Drawing and Color in the Art School of Design in Valencia and associate professor at the School of Design in this city Turia; Josefa Rufete, also graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Valencia in the specialty of Artistic Drawing, Artistic Drawing teacher in the Art School of Design Orihuela (Alicante), Guillermina Sanchez prayed, Teacher, self-taught painter and author of numerous exhibitions and Javier Lorente, versatile artist, painter, photographer and professor of painting, while the functions of the Secretariat has played the Head of the Public Library Matencio Pons Carolina.
