Four years with `` closed'' sign in Alguazas Day Centre after a bad management by the PP (27/05/2013)

In early 2009 work was completed on Day Care Center in Alguazas.

Since then, the region and the council budgeted an opening lead that never comes.

In 2008 they were awarded the work of Day Care Center Alguazas, located next to Avenida Alfonso X El Sabio, and funded by the Instituto Murciano Social Action, under the Directorate General of Elder Affairs Department of Social Policy , Immigration and Women of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, with a budget of EUR 416,764.25.

In early 2009 the works were completed and, therefore, the center ready for opening.

Already in 2010, the autonomous region included in their budgets the amount of 195 542 euros for the concert to take forward the Day Centre, although the grant never came to city coffers, or at least, never spent for this purpose .

In later years, 2011, 2012 and 2013 were budgeted the amount of 98,000 euros, 93,100 and 113,400 euros respectively, but neither came to inaugurate.

In regular full July 26, 2012, all political groups unanimously approved the agreement for the implementation of the Day Centre, initially, for September.

Since the end of the works, Councillor of Social Services, Maria Dolores Hernandez takes saying the center will be open "in the coming days."

But years pass and still hung the sign `` closed''.

From UXA consider disrespectful towards alguaceños that up squandering public money on a building that is closed, neighbors mock opening daily on Day Centre Unit is why by Alguazas not hesitate to ask the immediate resignation of the councilor of Social Services, for "has lost all credibility and legitimacy to remain in office, resulting from its inability to govern and lack of honesty" in the words of spokesman for UXA, José Gabriel García Barnabas.

Each year, the regional government promises the opening of this center in their budgets, but everything is on wet paper, as a mere fact that the "popular" Alguazas can brag of grants, but then never get to run.
