With the signing of a cooperation agreement with

the Association of University and Technical

Local Development, Rural Employment and Development

The Council Chamber of the Town Hall has hosted Alguazas am on Wednesday, October 16th, the signing of a cooperation agreement between the local council and the University and Technical Association for Local Development, Rural and Employment Promotion, regional, in order to implement a series of strategies for economic and social revitalization of the municipality.

Under this agreement signed by the Mayor of the town, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, and the President of that entity nonprofit Murcia, Francisco Carreño Sandoval Alguazas be undertaken in a set of proposals among which are those of boosting creation and consolidation of business initiatives, especially those that have their origin in a transfer of knowledge from the university-, incorporating experts, researchers from different areas of technical knowledge and public and private entities acting for achieving socio-economic development of the population, the active participation of the population of the municipality in advancing productive and improving the living conditions of the most disadvantaged groups such as youth, women, immigrants and any other group at risk of exclusion, promoting knowledge and research, the promotion of women's empowerment, joint strategic planning and local rural areas as well as the structuring of governance in such environments.

We speak of objectives that will materialize in a package of measures and means that this joint collaboration agreement with a term of two years renewable for equal periods, defined in terms of research, studies and consultancies, training activities such as seminars, conferences, workshops and courses, educational issues in written, visual or electromagnetic, collaborations in programs or projects of regional, national and international, with other development groups, actions appropriate training and constant updating of all groups linked to local and rural development, and especially the members of the Association, sharing experiences and seeking joint action lines similar entities, promoting citizen participation mechanisms and territorial governance and activities aimed at enhancing knowledge transfer between generations.

As highlighted Alguazas Mayor, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, "the enhancement of this agreement will mean for the town to continue influencing the strategies of creation and consolidation of the driving forces of the economy and employment that we apply in various orders and factors development and counting with the rich human heritage that offer entrepreneurs and technical experts as those that make up the Association with which we will work side by side from now ".
