Education invests 500,000 euros in improving schools Alguazas (06/11/2014)

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities has invested in recent years a total of 490,470 euros in the improvement and upgrading of schools Alguazas.

The municipality, with an occupancy of 22.89 students per classroom in primary education, ratio remains stable and below the maximum limit of 25 students per class set for this stage of education while in high school this ratio is 18 students per class , far below the maximum limit of 30.

The Director General of Educational Planning and Human Resources, Enrique Ujaldón visited the town this morning, where I met with the local mayor, José Antonio Fernández, and the heads of the three Primary Schools in the municipality.

"Our concern is to keep working for students Alguazas, and the whole region, can receive a quality education in the best possible conditions," said Enrique Ujaldón.

In the last five years have carried out different activities in schools of the locality.

The last one, currently underway, is to improve the thermal conditions by reforming the ceilings in the Secondary School Villa Alguazas, a work in which they have invested 10,000 euros.

The meeting also discussed the upcoming scheduled performances in pre-primary and primary education in the municipality, such as the renovation of the electrical installation of the CEIP Monte Anaor and Our Lady of Mount Carmel or the repair of cracks generated in the latter center by a break in the sewage caused in turn by the roots of a tree.
