This year's "Book Day" in Alguazas will be devoted to the fifth centenary of the birth of Saint Teresa of Jesus and for this the Department of Culture Alguazas has prepared an extensive program of activities.
The events begin tomorrow, Tuesday March 31 with the representation of known musical "Jesus Christ Superstar" by the theater group "Amigos de la Torre" in the Cine-Teatro "IV Centenario" (21 hours) and a charity input 3 euros for the San Onofre Parish Church.
On Friday April 10th will be the turn of flamenco ballet "Romeo and Juliet", represented by the formation Arena-Theatre at the Cine-Teatro IV Centenario (21 hours).
This event has an entry of 15 euros, but like other works of this program is part of "Scene Plan" of the Regional Government.
This offers the possibility to collect free invitations to April 1 at the Municipal Library of Alguazas, although at the box office performances have a cost.
On Thursday 16 April a storyteller led by parents and employees of the Municipal Library liven up the evening (17 hours) to small and from 20 pm will take place on reading workshop for adults who as usual is held once a month in Alguazas in these municipal offices.
On Saturday 18, with a price of 10 euros but also within the "Scene Plan" will take place at the Cine-Teatro "IV Centenario" (21 hours) the play "You have to undo the house" by Double K Theatre .

Activities related to the "Day of the Book" in Alguazas come to an end during the first days of May, in which two appointments will be held.
On day 1 the popular journalist Paloma Gomez Borrero recite poems of Santa Teresa in the Parish Church San Onofre (20 hours), free entry event with limited capacity.
And on Tuesday, May 5 will be awarded prizes of "Children's Painting Competition", aimed at students in 2nd and 3rd Primary with the central theme of the figure of Santa Teresa.
