The City Council has joined the regional program that will continue to renovating sections of rural roads in the municipality at no cost to the municipal coffers in future annuities
The Regional Government, through the Ministry of Agriculture and Water, has recently completed the upgrading works Court Road, Camino del Soto Los Pardos and Road Water Treatment Plant, located in the hamlet of Place of Alguazas.
These works made on an area of ​​nearly four kilometers, had concluded last December, but technical circumstances have forced to make new arrangements in the driveway during the month of March.
The repair work, which were implemented by the Directorate General of Irrigation and Rural Development, allowed for a treatment to prolong the life of the asphalt.
Thus, the work consisted in repairing potholes, road drainage improvement and application of a surface treatment that has prolonged the life pavement, correcting the problems of surface degradation.
Improved access
Among the executed works include the comprehensive resurfacing the road Depuradora, main means of communication in the hamlet of El Spot and the neighborhood of Floridablanca with the National Highway 344.
"This action is a satisfaction to the people of Alguazas that improves access to the area, increasing the quality of life for residents," said the first alguaceño mayor, recalling that such work "have not resulted in any cost to city coffers because the investment has been fully assumed by the regional government. "
