Alguazas City Council, through its Department of Sports, has decided to postpone until after the summer's inaugural duathlon "Villa de Alguazas", scheduled for this Sunday April 19th.

"This weekend the regional both scheduled and neighboring provinces is saturated so that all the effort and work done over the last four months would not be reflected in participation, so we have seen fit to this change date, "said Councilman Sports, Joaquín López, reminding that this test is organized by the alguaceño Consistory in collaboration with the Federation of Triathlon in the Region of Murcia.

For this race, the first of its kind to be played on the town, we have chosen the magnificent surroundings of Park La Pinada del Carmen district.

"It is a great organizational challenge, in line with the great trials which have been proposing in Alguazas, and believe it is a great decision we make, all in the name of the show and satisfaction of athletes and spectators," stresses the mayor about this test is included in the Regional League Duathlon.
