Alguazas City Council, through an agreement signed with Ecoembes, has reinforced the selective collection of packaging, paper and board by placing nine rear cargo containers 1,100 liters for the selective collection of light packaging and nine other containers rear cargo of 1100 liters for the collection of cardboard.

The containers have been placed in the Zurbaran, Torre de los Moros, Nuestra Señora del Carmen, Balboa, Pearl, Mayor, San Vicente, Avenida de America, Highway of Ceuta streets and districts of the Huerta de Arriba and El Paraje .

"The goal of this campaign is the implementation of measures to improve the collection of light packaging and paper board of the municipality of Alguazas, in order to increase the amounts recovered and achieve an increase in the recycling rate packaging waste, "says Soledad Bermudez Pastor, Councillor for the Environment.
