Last Friday visited our town a group of pilgrims from Santa Cruz, who did walk a route from Madrid to the Sanctuary of Hope in Calasparra, to mark the Jubilee Holy Year 2008.

The pilgrims visited our parish church of San Onofre, where they were greeted by our Pastor D.

Carlos Vicente Molina Lopez, who explained to visitors the history and images provided by this monument.

After that enjoyed a walk through the village, before retiring to the municipal sports pavilion, donated for this purpose.

Alguazas is a municipality located strategically as one of the scales of the walking tours conducted by the Greenway in the direction of Caravaca de la Cruz and Calasparra, so many pilgrims choose this town for the night and take advantage of the enormous wealth of art and landscape municipality.
