The Department of Environment Alguazas municipality has distributed more than 800 containers to carry out the separation of household waste for recycling in an orderly and practical.
The initiative has been received with open arms by residents of the municipality who have declared that "the more facilities to recycle more easily we will select the waste."
The containers also carried a pamphlet explaining how to use different waste containers and a funnel for recycling oil.
"They are promoting three major environmental actions: One, the domestic recycling container, which is divided into three compartments for the separation of organic waste, plastic and paper, another oil funnel which helps to keep the remains of fat in our food, and finally, the mobile eco-park, which lies every week in the areas of street markets to receive any waste tipi we have in our homes. "
