The Group Theatre de la Peña El Molino, directed by Pedro Barquero and Cristino de Maya as an assistant director, staged the famous work of Jean-Baptiste Poquelin (Molière), The Physician Palos, translated into Castilian by Leandro Fernandez Moratín.
The assembly hall of the House of Culture is completely filled to attend the premiere of this work.
Was palpable in the air the willingness of participants to have fun.
It was.
From the first moment the audience rewarded the actors with strong laughter, funny comments and generous applause that did not stop repeated in the hour-long work.
Representation attended among others, the Mayor of Alguazas, Don José Antonio Fernández Lladó, Councillor of Culture, Isabel Zamora Palacios, Councillor of Celebration, Silvia Ruiz Serna, Luis Hernández Lison, Official Chronicler of the Village, and the painter Pedro Serna Verdú accompanied by his wife Isabel Barquero González.
It tells the story of Bartolo and Martina, a customary marriage fight because he is a lumberjack lazy and presumptuous.
For this reason a day when two servants seek a doctor to relieve the daughter of a strange disease pattern, Martina decides to play a practical joke on her husband and says that the forest is a doctor with a character so eccentric that, to confess their knowledge, should be given a beating.
Despite the modesty of the group, all the actors and actresses scratched a good height.
Pedro Barquero, played the character of Bartolo, Maruja Aráez Martina, Francisco José hurt to Gines Carrillo Gregorio Luke, Nardi Andrea Ruiz, Cristino Don Jeronimo Maya, Catia Dona Paula Sáez and Mario Molina Leandro.
