Sergio Bernal is the Youth of the Year 2009 |
Youth Association of Alguazas Joval celebrated its first anniversary at a ceremony held in the Auditorium of the Casa de la Cultura, which was attended by the president and members of the board, the mayor of Alguazas, José Antonio Fernández Lladó , the Councillor for Culture and Education, Isabel Zamora, partners, relatives and neighbors who enjoyed the program prepared.
Jose Gabriel Garcia Bernabe, president of the Youth Association Joval, presented the attendees with the seven members of its board of directors, who are responsible for designing programs that develop throughout the year.
The president made a thorough review to a year full of activities beginning with the first of all: I Carrera Popular "Youth for Health" which was followed by sports competitions, youth festivals and the various campaigns to encourage participation of youth environment.
In addition, Joval has worked closely with the Youth Council of the City of Alguazas in organizing numerous events and youth events.
This youth association, explained, aims to involve young people Alguazas on those initiatives in the field of culture, environment, sport, youth, solidarity, education, values, culture and volunteering.
During the ceremony, prizes were awarded and trophies from the last championships held since Joval sports, such as the II Football Championship, the First Day MultiSport, R Aquatic Sports Day and I Swimming Championships.
In addition, the board gave all participants in any of the activities throughout this year of a diploma.
One of the highlights of the night came with the Youth Awards 2009.
Antonio Gonzalez Belmonte, won the Sportsman of the Year Competition "I have an idea, went to Alexander López Pérez, Volunteer 2009 was Joaquín Piqueras Aledo.
Participation Award and the Commitment Award were awarded to Sergio Bernal and Alberto Montero Palazón Plans respectively.
Finally, the Initiative Award for 2009 was José Gabriel García Barnabas for his tireless work as head of this association.
All of them chose the highest award, the Youth of the Year, which went to Sergio Bernal.
The jury appreciated the assistance, cooperation, participation, merit and success in all activities of Joval.
Finally, the association wanted to thank the City of Alguazas the constant support and assistance provided throughout this first year of existence.
Thus, the mayor received from the president of Joval a plaque commemorating the event.
José Antonio Fernández Finally Lladó told those present the visit by a small group of guys last year with the firm intention of forming an association of young alguaceños, showing a great satisfaction to see how all these ideas, not only have materialized, but have also managed to connect with youth alguaceña, demonstrating the fact that they are almost 170 partners Joval.
