No incidence of strikes in public services Alguazas (08/06/2010)

On June 8, the unions had called on officials and public workers go on strike in protest against the action taken by the Zapatero government to reduce the salary.

In Alguazas, the impact caused by the strike have been zero.

As regards public services, both at City Hall and in the Infant School Reina Sofia in the Health Center and Peripheral Assistance Center Barrio del Carmen nobody has supported the strike.

Employees of the Regional Revenue Agency, which has an office in the town have not supported the strike.

Yes they have, although the impact has been minimal educational establishments in the locality.

Moreover, it should be noted an unpleasant fact is that a picket has spent the last night to disable the locks on some public buildings, particularly City Hall, Queen Sofia Infant School and the Center of the Barrio del Carmen Loop, Where has also placed a poster that read "Closed due to strike."

This fact, which in principle should not have too much relevance, will have from the point of view, since the damage caused to the gates amount to six hundred euros.

At no time has questioned the right of workers to strike, which is recognized in the Constitution, but it also includes the right to work.

Rights, which in this day each has served as believed more convenient, or abetting a strike or attending their place of work as usual.
