The 'popular', Silvia Ruiz, has taken possession of her position as mayor after prospering the motion of censure in the Alguazas City Council.
As the municipal councilor has stated, she assumes this position with the responsibility of promoting projects that attract economic growth and well-being to the municipality, because "after a year of inaction by the municipal government, Alguazas needed a solid government with a programmatic agreement focused on working to improve citizen security, promoting employment and, above all, approving municipal budgets.
"Ruiz has stressed that, from now on, consensus and dialogue will be the banner of his management, which he hopes will see important projects such as the General Plan advance.The new mayor, in addition to having been the leader of the opposition for the last year, has previously held positions in the municipal government in the areas of women, festivities, tourism, citizen participation and consumption for 8 years in different legislatures.
