About 80 people attended the "Third Conference on Heraldry and Municipal Vexiología", held during days 4 and 5 November at the headquarters of the center of Humanities and Social Sciences, Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) in Madrid.
The conference is organized by the Royal Academy of Heraldry and Genealogy Matritense, the Spanish Institute for the Study of nobility and the Spanish Confederation of Local Study Centres CSIC.
They took part representing the Real Academia Alfonso X el Sabio de Murcia, and the Royal Spanish Association of Official Writers, the official chronicler Alguazas, Lison Luis Hernández.
The event began on Thursday with the opening ceremony by the Director General of Cooperation with Local Administration of the community of Madrid, Jaime Gonzalez.
The opening lecture was given by academic Faustino Menéndez, entitled "The municipal coats: yesterday, today and tomorrow?".
Then we proceeded to the establishment of two panels and two lectures that were part of the activities scheduled for Thursday.
The first panel focused on "The adjustment of local gun shops in Spain: review and comment" and was led by the director of the Instituto de Estudios Gallegos "Padre Sarmiento (CSIC), Eduardo Pardo de Guevara.
Similarly, the second panel was moderated by the CSIC Research Professor, Wifredo Rincón, on "The process of approval and authorization of the use of a shield or municipal flag."
Reading of communications
On Friday, the last day of the conference, began with the reading of selected papers from the first round table was moderated by a member of the Royal Association of Hidalgo of Spain, Valentin Cespedes.
In this regard during the course of that table made his speech to the Royal Spanish Association Official Reporters, Luis Hernández Lison, with the theme "The Legend Municipal Murcia: Past Present and Future."
Similarly, we developed a second panel discussion moderated by Baron Gavin, Manuel Fuentes of Gilbert.
This was done in the last day two round tables and three papers.
Then he proceeded to read the conclusions of the conference and after they gave way at the end of the same with the conference "The Municipal Heraldry German: Current Status and Future" who gave Dr. Rolf Nagel and words of thanks from the director the Center for Humanities and Social Sciences of the CSIC, Eduardo Manzano.
