The City Council signed the agreement Correspondent Youth Project Alguazas (10/11/2010)

Alguazas Mayor, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, today signed an agreement with the secondary schools of the municipality, for the fourth year Correspondent Youth Project.

The action starts in the Alguazas the City through the Department of Youth.

The rubric has also come from the Mayor, the Councillor for Youth Alguazas, Alicia Parejo, and the directors of secondary schools in the municipality Vega CES Media, Isabel González, and IES Villa de Alguazas, Magdalena Galmés.

Also present were also the four correspondents who will develop the project, try Meseguer and Francisco Javier Gerardo Asensio, CES Vega Media, and Julian Garcia and Ivan Gonzalez of IES Villa de Alguazas, who signed a commitment to carrying out the duties program.

This is the fourth time performing this initiative and is the third year that starts in collaboration with the Autonomous Community of Murcia, through the Department of Youth, due to the great success obtained.

The project, which is aimed at young people, is generally in the election of two students per school, four people, who spend two recesses a week to inform their partners of the opportunities that the City Council and the Community shall offered as calls, resources and activities for a period of one year later these students are on scholarships from their work.

Correspondents also report on scholarships and grants, school, leisure, work and addresses of interest.

The objectives of the Project Youth Correspondent is to decentralize the information provided to young people access to it and offer youth the opportunity to inform their peers.

Also facilitate access to information and services offered by the Department of Youth and Youth Information Services (SIJ) as well as boosting local Sikhs and expand the Regional Youth Information Service.

Alguazas Mayor has insisted, during the signing of the agreement that the important thing is that the resources allocated to the project to optimize, for it considered it necessary for "us their demands and criticisms so that they work" he said.

Finally, Lladó Fernandez explained that "this mechanism is very interesting and needed to establish communication between the council, the Community and Youth" and "have been implemented gradually and continuing function of increased demand," he added.

Correspondents Meeting

In this regard it should be noted that last weekend hosted a regional correspondent, attended by over 50 young people from Murcia.

The event was held in Calarreona in Eagles during Friday afternoon and all day Saturday.

In a meeting is a training sessions for young people, there explained their roles as correspondents, what goals are achieved and how to implement them.
