Start today pruning mulberry about 1,000 Alguazas (11/11/2010)

The work of cutting branches will extend over three weeks less time than the previous year.

As is customary in the municipality the council of Parks and Gardens of the City Council has launched Alguazas pruning mulberry.

This tree species is very abundant and characteristic in the municipality, especially in the Garden Up, their number amounts to about 1,000 mulberry.

Pruning of trees has started today in the Plaza de Don Enrique Tierno Galván Alguazas.

Also cut the top branches in the Garden, Olivet way street and León Felipe.

Also be extended to all places where there are mulberry trees as Paco Serna Plaza and San Rafael Park.

Similarly the branches are cut for some groups of mulberry trees found in the ways of The Spot.

Councilman Parks and Gardens, Fernando Almagro, explained that last year, these activities were extended for a month, however he pointed out that this time it will take less because they have a larger number of staff working in pruning, thanks to an agreement with the SEF, which has 4 workers to the Brigade of Works and Services.

So workers start their work at 7.30 am to 14.30 pm and in doing so take approximately three weeks as Councilman Fernando said Almagro.
