Are running the refurbishment of the first phase of the Sports Centre which comprises three tennis courts and fronton.

The Department of Sports City of Alguazas has worked closely with the Works and Services to speed the refurbishment of one of the tennis courts for the beginning of sports activity of students in the School Hall.

These works are being carried out with the aim of improving the sports facilities available to the municipality within the Works and Services Plan (POS) of the City of Alguazas included for 2010.

The works were carried out consist of resurfacing, pavement marking sports and tennis court, fencing, interior, and sports installation of street furniture, and improve the existing landscaping.

The budget for this work is close to 100,000 euros, of which the majority, about 90,000 are provided by the Autonomous Community, while those remaining 10,000 are in charge of the municipal coffers.

With regard to the School of Tennis is worth noting that success has a great support since its launch seven years ago.

So this season has about 40 students divided into four groups attending classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 17.30.
