The City Council renewed the city's street furniture (18/11/2010)

Work has begun on the square of the Region of Murcia Alguazas with the placement of four new banks.

The Department of Parks and Gardens Alguazas City Council has launched an initiative to renew the city's street furniture to be completed before Christmas.

So thanks to the efforts of the Department has put in place since yesterday a draft renewal of street furniture.

In this regard it has proceeded to remove the old banks that were in the square of the region of Murcia, already badly damaged and replaced by four new ones.

Councilman Parks and Gardens, Fernando Almagro, reported that "it will proceed with the rehabilitation of all banks that are in poor condition in Alguazas of places that are heavily traveled."

The order of execution will start with those who are in worse condition.

In this regard, Councillor for the Environment, Javier Gambín, explained that this initiative falls within the proposed street furniture renovation of parks and gardens in the municipality.

It pointed out that work has already been made in the playgrounds of the square and Paco Serna Tierno Galván.

You can have brand new playground in the Plaza del Reloj de Sol, Dr. Sanchez Cañas and The Molineta.

Also in the hamlet of Arriba Huerta has renewed the park in the Plaza Santo Domingo, as in the Civic Center of The Spot.

Also, Javier Gambín announced the forthcoming work carried out in the playground of San Rafael.

Thus the spaces and playgrounds in the municipality will be equipped with new facilities, modern and equipped with appropriate security.
