More than 100 students from schools in Alguazas involved in the recycling campaign (22/11/2010)

The Department of Environment has prepared an educational campaign under the slogan "committed to recycling Alguazas: Erre que Erre".

The municipality of Alguazas, through the Department of Environment, has launched the campaign in the municipality "Alguazas committed to recycling: Erre que Erre".

To which was attended by the Councillor for the Environment, Javier Gambín, and the councilman of Agriculture, Fernando Almagro.

The initiative has been launched within 30% of funds allocated to Ecomber communication campaign for local authorities in the region attached to the framework.

Thus more than 100 students from fourth grade public school Monte Anaor and Our Lady of Carmen attended the Ecopark Alguazas to participate in three workshops which includes the aforementioned campaign.

For the development of workshops has been used a dynamic, practical and constructive.

So the students have attended three half-hour workshops each stock based on reuse, recycling and waste reduction.

The campaign aims to acquire attitudes and skills to ensure efficient recycling of solid waste resources, as well as the applicability of reuse and reduction mechanisms.

At 9.30 am, Friday, began the workshops with students of the College of Education and Primary (CEIP) Monte Anaor.

Divided into groups were rotated to work the three workshops.

The activity lasted until 11.30.

Then, on the 11.30, I was the turn of students of CEIP Nuestra Señora del Carmen, who were about to 13.30 hours conducting the workshops.
