Popular and Socialist groups unanimously approved strongly condemn violence against women.
The City Council was held yesterday Alguazas Regular plenary which passed a motion unanimously by the Socialist People's groups of the municipal corporation.
Thus the two groups filed a joint motion for the 25th November International Day for Violence against Women, which passed unanimously, which expressed their revulsion at this social scourge.
The Socialist People's civic groups urged the City Council Central Government and our regional government to conduct a socio-criminological study on gender violence in order to highlight the realities on this terrible problem in our society.
Similarly, the administration claimed jurisdiction in this matter urgently take the necessary measures to provide maximum protection for women threatened with immediate setting up customized plans.
Also, both groups seek to increase the number of judges specialized in gender violence, providing them with the means to ensure its operation.
Finally, request an increase in the membership of bodies and the State Security Forces dedicated exclusively to gender-based violence, especially trained for these tasks and in direct, continuous and personalized with actual or potential victims.
