Youth Association of Alguazas Joval attended the third day of the "What the river has" framed in the volunteer program in rivers of the Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs.
The program is developed in the partnership agreement between the Information Center on the Mount and the Segura basin.
Joval volunteers attended the convocation intended to rehabilitate a section of the sub-Mula River as it passes through the Municipality of Alguazas.
Among them was the president of the youth organization, Jose Gabriel García Bernabé.
Like every Sunday, half a hundred residents of various associations involved in this project.
On the third day was painted the first coat of paint on the concrete wall and clean the river and waste disposal.
In the graffiti have collaborated Fukcaps members of the association, giving a different view of graffiti as an art of artistic expression and not an act of vandalism.
This project has a budget of EUR 27,300.32, provided entirely by the Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs.
Furthermore, with the collaboration of national organizations: WWF / Spain Murcia and Earth Group Plan Association (EPlan) and associations Alguazas: Joval, club walker "despacico that I can not" and the women's association.
This project aims to create a dialogue between citizens and the river Alguazas, stimulating the integration among the existing collective sense of belonging to a people and awareness of natural heritage as a common good.
The project aims to create an intercultural cooperation for the defense of a common good in a suburban area, will work specifically on the banks of the Site of Community Importance (SCI) of the river Mula-Pliego (located past the bridge on the Cartagena railway line Chinchilla for about 350 meters downstream, parallel to the street Angel Ganivet), ie it passes through the town of Alguazas.
