Through a talk organized by the Department of Equality, an analysis of the place of women in contemporary society through the interventions of illustrious women of the Region of Murcia.
Alguazas City Council, through the Department of Equality and the collaboration of the Association of Women of the municipality, has organized the lecture-discussion: "Women: achievements and challenges" in the House of Culture of the municipality .
The event began with the mayor of Alguazas, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, the Councillor for Equality, Dori Bermudez and CEO of Prevention of Violence and Juvenile Reform in the Region of Murcia, Teresa Moreno.
Both the Mayor and Teresa Moreno highlighted the importance of gender equality and publicly expressed violence between them.
In this regard highlights the involvement of Professor of History and Art, University of Murcia, Cecilia Esteban, with the conference "Women and work as seen from the point of view of art."
They also emphasize the words of the Public Works Engineering, Bachelor of Architecture and Regional MP PP, Maria Ascension Carreño, which has emphasized the message that "we must not emphasize the victimization or the triumphalism" of the women in society.
Similarly stands the President of the Technical Association of Women and the Office of Consumer Affairs, Loli Lopez, who said the journey of that group in Alguazas.

The event is closed the recital of a poem by poet sense alguaceña Cati Cano.
