In the event the mayor intervened Alguazas, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, the Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana, and the Councillor for Equality, Dori Bermudez.
Alguazas City Council, through the Department of Equality, held its traditional "Tribute to Women's Major, dedicated this year to nine alguaceñas very dear in the municipality.
The event started at 19.30 before a House of Culture full of attendees.
First intervened Alguazas Equality Councillor, Dori Bermudez, who made a brief introduction of the act.
Subsequently gave way to reading the profile of each of the honorees.
These were Rita Egidio, Ros Fina, Juanita Ruipérez, Teresa Romero, Joaquin Fernandez, Lola Garrido, Cecilia López, Josefina Fernandez and Molly Izquierdo.
The evening was also enlivened by the reading of two poems of the poets alguaceñas hand, Kitty and Rachel Cano Mengual, related to the theme of the event.
The same way we enjoyed the performance of alguaceño dancer, Daniel Asis, I play a "Cheers."
The most recent of the emotional event were the mayor of Alguazas, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, who congratulated the honorees and thanked the audience attendance.
So did the Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana.
To close the ceremony Lladó José Antonio Fernández, Joaquín Bascuñana, Dori Bermudez by the Director General of the IMAS, Isabel Sola, and the Director General of Social Affairs, Gender and Immigration, Leopoldo Navarro, they delivered a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a plaque commemorating the event to each of the honorees.
Among the large number of audience were present Councilwoman Alguazas Education Councillor, Isabel Zamora, Councillor for Citizen Security, Fernando Almagro, the councilor of Celebration, Silvia Ruiz, the mayor and Town Planning Officer, Javier Gambín and other councilors of the Municipal Corporation.
