The Director General of Tourism, Marina Garcia, opened today with Mayor Alguazas, José Antonio Fernández, the shelter of the old town train station, for which the Ministry of Culture and Tourism allocated a total of 523,000 euros.
The building comprises a hostel with 12 rooms, a cafeteria, toilets and laundry, which give the town with 60 places of accommodation,
This accommodation is part of the Network of Shelters of Northwest Greenway, for which the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has earmarked more than 4 million euros, and also part of the newly opened shelters Station and El Llano Caravaca and the Light Station at Mula and those of the old station and the old Albudeite Cehegín station, in Bullas, the Paraje La Rafa, and the shelter of the old train station in Campos del Rio opened last week.
