UXA claims that the PP rates up all municipal sports activities (08/10/2012)

The rise is 4.5%, and PP justified it with the updated CPI

UXA spokesman urged update also worker wages

In the full Alguazas, the Popular Party presented a proposed ordinance amendment to raise some tax rates, among which local sports activities.

The measure passed by the PP, and showed an overwhelming rejection UXA any tax increases or fees.

"While citizens suffer to make ends meet, increasing poverty and unemployment grows, governments are only dedicated to smother with more taxes, which excludes and further complicated the lives of these people," the spokesman argued independent - Gabriel Jose Garcia-Bernabe to reject the proposal.

Since January, the activities of tennis, football, karate, gymnastics, aerobics, yoga, pilates and amateur league will be more expensive for users who want to play soccer.

Given the rejection of the measure UXA, the PP used to justify two arguments: first, that the CPI should be updated, and second there was to raise enough to sustain activities.

Given the statements of the mayor of sports, UXA spokesman said "if you update the CPI for taxes and fees, which are also made in the salaries of workers."

Drive by Alguazas is nonsense to say that the activities are economically unsustainable when the total cost amounts to 36,000 per year, and collection rates pose with 46,000 euros to the city coffers.

José Gabriel also accused the mayor of sports, Lopez Verdú, of "liar liar" by promising a year ago that rates would not rise.

The measure also gathered other rate hikes cemetery road occupation and recreational and sales positions.

Finally, the measure failed to pass with the only votes of the PP.
