Alguazas City Council, as a member of the ADRI (Association for Integrated Rural Development) of the Municipalities of Segura, will host the new call 2012-2014 LEADER approach.
This program is an initiative of the European Union that aims to achieve a sustainable and integrated rural development, promoting and generating new economic development prospects, fueled generation and job creation, new businesses, new activities and economic sectors.
The LEADER program is funded by 75% by the European Union, through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), by 12.5% ​​by the State, through the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment, and in 12.5% ​​remaining, for the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, through its Ministry of Agriculture and Water.
The Department of Employment and Training Alguazas City Council, aware of the investment opportunity and job aids involving LEADER Programme, wants to spread and inform all residents of the municipality of new lines of support, in order to submit as many potential projects to be funded by the program.
For this, the technical staff of the Local Development Agency attached to the said Department, at 20 am next Thursday, October 18, will hold a briefing in the Council Chamber of the Town Hall to target population the self-employed, small businesses and local SMEs in the eligibility for such aid, in this new edition will target 2012-2014 in the following lines:
1. - Adding value to agricultural and forestry products.
Goal: dedicated micro or intending to engage in the processing and / or marketing agricultural sectors increase their competitiveness and efficiency.
Aid of this line are aimed at the creation, expansion, improvement and transfer of micro agro processing.
2.-Diversification into non-agricultural activities.
Objective: To increase the chances of development of household farm owners.
Support the creation and development of micro-enterprises that are formed by a member of a family unit holder of a farm (farmers or family members) to develop microenterprise activities like ecotourism, rural tourism, camping areas camping, craft microenterprise, alternative energy, etc..
3.-Aid for the creation and development of micro-enterprises.
Objective: Aid for the creation, expansion, improvement and transfer of micro contained in the Code of regional handicrafts and innovative micro.
4.-Encouragement of tourism activities.
Objective: To answer the demand for tourist clientele.
The aid will be aimed among other things to the creation of small hotels and inns, aid for the creation of SMEs engaged in alternative hosting services like camping, signaling support tourist and environment.
5.-Basic services for the economy and rural population.
Objectives: To facilitate the establishment and improvement of appropriate services for the development of rural areas.
Support for the creation of companies providing home care services, to companies that facilitate work-life balance (takeout companies, cleaning companies ...), creating innovative childcare, residential building seniors and day centers small volume, service leisure, etc.
6.-Conservation and upgrading of rural heritage.
Objectives: The enhancement of culture, traditions, natural resources, scenic, ethnological and architectural ones.
7.-Training and information.
Objectives: To develop the capacities potential beneficiary of the measures.
Helps teach courses, web page creation, training for new technologies, etc..
