Total Success "Summit on Poverty" organized by Unity for Alguazas (20/01/2013)

About two hundred people attended the event organized by independent Alguazas, who also several food baskets distributed among the attendees.

Five speakers impressed the audience.

The independent party Alguazas, aware of the current situation in our country, organized the "Poverty Summit" to bring all citizens in solidarity and friendship to combat poverty and social exclusion.

The hosts gave a message of hope, unity and hope to the public, which reached the hearts of the people to go to all of this economic crisis together.

Presented by Councilman Juan Antonio Carrión Westerveld, the act caused great expectations and was a resounding success for all attendees.

He was responsible for welcoming the five speakers who spoke to show their concerns and views to the current situation of poverty and social exclusion.

First, the priest of Cieza, Regional Alliance member Poverty and collaborator with the Platform of People Affected by the Mortgage, Joaquín Sánchez Sánchez, was the one who had the privilege of opening the event, doing it in style with a speech full of surprise and truths, which aroused the admiration and applause.

Then spoke a member of the Association of Teachers Interim Murcia (AIDMUR) and also professor of FOL in Lorca, Sheriff Raul Tito, who was commissioned to discuss problems that drag families in the education sector and the struggle the educational community has with the various governments to the wave of cuts.

Third, Eva Maria Lopez Canovas, who is a member of the Network for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion in the Region of Murcia (EAPN-RM) and also plays his professional career as a social worker, from his professional experience with disabled people and families with limited resources, was the royal version of poverty, and their feelings of everyday life with these people.

Later, speaking Javier Sierra Rodriguez, who is Dean of the College of Political Science and Sociology, and professor at the University of Murcia, political scientist and manager of a company in the field of social research.

From his teaching and, with hints of a sociologist, was responsible for show attendees a glimpse of the technical poverty and their social studies about these problems.

Finally, as the climax of the ceremony, the president and spokesman for Alguazas Unit, José Gabriel García Barnabas, who was shown the version poverty policy.

Analyzing the current situation of the country, highlighting the corruption of the major parties, the cuts and tax increases, Barnabas thrilled audiences sensitized against the risks posed by living in these situations of poverty or social exclusion.

"The Spanish purchasing power has dropped 48% over the past five years, our taxes are the highest in the EU, while we have the lowest wages, more than six million people can not find work, over five hundred people are evicted from their homes every day and leave our university to other countries "ahead Barnabas.

"Before this, our leaders only think about their pockets and how to feed tax evasion and corruption."

Criticizing labor reform and regressive tax policies, the president managed to move and excite UXA an entire audience when he set out to explain what the current situation in Spain with all these measures.

Those were the last words of the mayor by Alguazas Unit, which rose to a devoted audience with poverty.

Finally, came the most awaited part of the act.

UXA, using its own resources, had several food baskets that were raffled among all participants.

Recipients of these baskets thanked the social work organization and the other people who expressed their impression that the great work being done Alguazas independent.

In cold dinner made available UXA attendees, were all messages of congratulations and support for this game.
