The Director General of Planning and Housing, Yolanda Muñoz, said today that his department is studying the information concerning the General Urban Plan of Alguazas so it can be valued at the next meeting of the Committee on Regional Policy.
So it has transmitted Alguazas Mayor Jose Antonio Fernandez, who met this week to explain in detail the work being carried out from the Ministry of Public Works and Planning.
Yolanda Muñoz explained that "we recently received the Environmental Impact Statement, and the report of water that must be analyzed and incorporated into the municipal file".
"These documents were basic to continue processing the General Urban Plan of the town, said the director, and the reception is to take another step in the administrative process that currently leads the regional administration."
After analysis of the Directorate General of Land and Housing, it will issue a report to be submitted to the Committee on Regional Policy, to be convened soon in the Ministry.
The Planning Policy Committee consists of representatives of the regional administration and the Federation of Municipalities, which was also attended by local representatives as listeners.
Its mission is to inform urban records prior to final approval, as appropriate, shall be for the municipalities or the Governing Council.
