The Governing Council approved the expenditure of the works included in the project pumping and discharge of wastewater to the new treatment plant Alguazas.

The project includes the construction of a pumping impulse Alguazas wastewater to the new treatment plant, currently under construction, taking advantage of existing facilities.

Also, the construction of two new force mains viewed from the new well pumping up the connection to the inlet to the new WWTP.

The works will involve an investment of EUR 2.3 million to be funded 80 percent by the Cohesion Fund of the European Union.
