The X Alguazas Unity Party opened its process of open primaries to all citizens to elect the candidate for the local elections on May 24.

In this process could come forward and participate in the vote any neighbor who wished.

The registration deadline for applications was open until last February 11, appearing as the only candidate the current president and party councilor, José Gabriel García Barnabas, who founded eighteen years the party and now wants to repeat as alcaldable twenty.

"We believe in a political regeneration we must address without delay, and that the old parties, with their despotic and sectarian policies are letting the people go down the path of growth," he concludes.
