Education Development Center Alguazas Vega Media has launched a new edition of his campaign Nine Months Nine Grounds, which was awarded in the last edition of Premios Juventud 2008 the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia with the Solidarity Award .
Loyalty is the theme that this project started the school year 2008/2009, which aims to educate people about the treatment of their pets and condemn actions such as abandonment by their unwanted litters, and as animal abuse they are an active part of our daily lives.
Throughout October, students and teachers at the school have been actively involved in making banners and speeches that have resulted in a march to City Hall where about 200 youths have participated.
After you walk the Councillor for Education, Isabel Zamora, accompanied by the Councillor for Equality, Dori Bermudez and Environment, Francisco Javier Gambín, received the delegation of the center and have joined the act.
Once in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, many teachers and students explained to those present as it has changed their lives since they know their pets.
After they Soledad Torrente, Head of Department of Social Services ONCE in Murcia and Maria del Carmen Palomares, user's guide dog, explained to students the importance of such dogs in the life of a blind.
Representatives of Civil Protection Dog section of Cartagena, accompanied by two rescue dogs, commented on the qualities that have this type of animal to play with some assurance the work of people search.
To finish the event Vega CES Director of Media, Isabel González Carpes, delivered to the President of the Protection of Animals Save us a check for € 400 has been collected through donations from students, teachers and the school itself.
The director thanked the gesture and urged those present to come to this protective and help them in the work of finding new homes for the animals found there.
Education campaign on values Nine Months Nine Grounds, will continue in November.
The theme for this time will be to Coexistence.
This will seek to instill in students the basic rules in order to interact and live with the people around him, in different areas of life as they participate in workshops of coexistence of two hours per course.
