The work has been carried out by workers integrated into the Brigade of Works and Services thanks to the collaboration agreement SEF-Local Authorities of the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment of the CARM.
The Department of Works and Services Alguazas City Council has undertaken the complete renovation of the Plaza de la Molineta in the Barrio del Carmen.
The work, carried out by workers integrated into the Brigade of Works and Services thanks to the collaboration agreement SEF-Premises Corporate Education, Training and Employment, has involved the repair of sidewalks around the square contour and placement cobblestone, building ramps for easy access to disabled and reconstruction of the perimeter wall with the placement of artificial stone.
The lighting of the entire square has been refurbished, replaced all the lamps shades and repainted.
The performance has also included design of all plants by pruning, replanting in areas where there was no vegetation and placement of drip irrigation throughout the garden area.
Finally, one end of the square has created a play area for children, which has placed a playground with children in various games that have padded areas at risk of falling.
