The Spanish Network for Rural Development is developing the "Awareness Campaign on Climate Change in schools in rural areas, funded by the General Secretariat for the Prevention of Pollution and Climate Change Ministry of Environment, Rural and Marino.
The Department of Environment and Education of the City of Alguazas working with this project which aims to secure the development of environmental awareness in children through the collective involvement of all in order to modify behavior and consumption patterns, thus achieving promotion sustainable development.
Recipients of the project in our town are children of school age enrolled in the third cycle of primary school Our Lady of Mount Caramel and Anaor, in addition to the teachers who supervise the content.
The program therefore seeks to develop an awareness campaign and training that addresses the real problems of the environment and for this there is a supporting material (teaching guide on CD-ROM, brochures ...) used to work environmental awareness in our younger population.
