Bagpipe group Toral Leon Vados belonging to the municipality of Villadecanes was received by Mayor Alguazas, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, the councilor of Celebration, Silvia Ruiz and President of Grupo de Coros y Danzas El Molino, Pedro Barquero last Saturday, May 30 at City Hall Alguazas.
At the reception, the mayor gave to the representatives of the various publications related to piper Alguazas, plus a city crest framed.
For its part, the Chairman of the Bagpipe Fords Toral Alguazas City Council gave the shield, also framed in the municipality where they belong: Villadecanes.
Reception in the City began a parade of the two folk groups in the streets of the town.
After that journey began on XIV National Folklore Festival "Villa de Alguazas" that showed more than a thousand attendees the typical folklore of the province of Leon and our province.
Following the various performances that delighted the audience was given the award for "Huertano the Year 2009" which went to Dr. D.
Agustín Navarro Montoya, President of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) in the Region of Murcia.
An act that also served to invest the bridesmaids also child and head of the Rock The Mill, who will represent it in the events taking place throughout this year 2009.
