Over sixty young people have participated in Alguazas MultiSport Conference held last Saturday, November 7 in the township.
The event is included in the various activities of the Program Nueve.e.
On Saturday morning, attendees participated in several championships, tennis, football, basketball and three-point shootout.
After the dispute of the various championships, the Councillor for Youth, Alicia Parejo, has handed over the medals and trophies for first, second and third place in each category.
The Institute for Youth in the Region of Murcia Nueve.e program developed at the IES Villa de Alguazas in collaboration with the Youth Council.
Nueve.e Program
This is the second year that Alguazas involved in this project launched by the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia.
The three phases consisting of the program, the town is the second in which members organize activities Nueve.e externally, ie in which all youth can participate in the municipality.
Last year, Alguazas and participated in the program Nueve.e with various workshops and courses, but perhaps the most important was the conclusion at the town's first youth meeting of the program, which brought together over one hundred youth in the Region of Murcia.
Within the program there are three levels.
The first is that Nueve.e members organize activities for themselves to the program.
The second, which is at present, are activities that can turn any girl you want.
The third and final phase, which will be accessed next year, to organize activities must have a social, cultural, etc.
Each phase lasts one academic year in which perform various activities proposed Nueve.e members and most importantly, that they choose to do, always with the help and advice from a youth mediator.
Promote social participation of youth in the area of non-formal education, promote democratic values such as solidarity, social skills and foster the exchange of experiences and training participation are some of the objectives Nueve.e.
