About two hundred alguaceñas between fifty and seventy years have gone by bus to the Spanish Association Against Cancer for three days has been at the entrance to the township health center.
The initiative, which aims at early detection of breast cancer, were included in a program launched by the Public Health Directorate of the Ministry of Health in collaboration with the Spanish Association Against Cancer, the City Council Alguazas and Health Center in the municipality.
There, they had a mammogram, a simple test that is aimed at detecting breast cancer.
In particular, they have made four films in different positions, which are the chest, armpit and breast.
This test can detect the disease and in the event that the outcome was in doubt cite the association in Murcia to continue further testing.
For the second time this year that the bus AECC visit the resort, as it also was here in April, as every year visit the town twice.
About 650 women attend the mobile unit AECC in 2010.
This is due to a change made by the Directorate General of Public Health, which cited to which were last revised in 2008 and have been made in 2009.
