On 20 January, Alguazas Guilds Board held a meeting to elect a preacher of the Holy Week this year.
During the meeting all participants have agreed to be the Ascension alguaceña Carrero which read the proclamation.
On 20 March in the Parish Church of San Onofre Alguazas, the regional deputy, Ascension Carreño, will read the proclamation with which to start Alguazas Easter 2010.
Ascension Carreño is a neighbor of the town, is married and has two children.
Today, Carreño is deputy regional deputy spokesman at the Regional Assembly of the popular group, among other charges.
From 1995 to 2000, Carreño held the office of Councillor in the City of Alguazas.
Thereafter, until 2003 was the director of the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia.
Carrillo also has been deputy parliamentary group, chairman of the Committee for Health and Social Affairs, Secretary of the Committee on Employment and spokesman and deputy secretary of the Popular Party, among other charges.
