The departments of Citizenship and Alguazas Sports Festival organized a Benefit to raise funds for earthquake victims in Haiti.
The event will be held on Sunday 21 February at the Municipal Sports Pavilion Alguazas at five in the afternoon.
The festival will feature dance groups from Alguazas, Gailea Majorettes, Dance Academy Ana Belén and Al-Waza, in addition to the drum and bugle bands local to the Samaritan woman and the Virgen del Carmen and the Band of Drummers Hellin.
In addition to the collaboration of dance groups and bands of drums and trumpets, this event also assist businesses in the county, who have donated their products to be raffled during the festival.
The entry fee is three euros and all money raised will go, in full, International Red Cross for actions that Oxfam is developing in Haiti.
So far Alguazas has already donated 7,500 euros to Haiti.
Civic groups donated 3,900 euros and the Friends of Guatemala organized a charity dinner at which 3,600 euros was raised.
